Cheese Tea at Cheers Cheese

If you ask me coffee or tea, I always choose tea because I really LOOVE to drink tea. I went to Cheers Cheese in IOI City Mall few days ago and tried out some of their signature tea drinks.

Located on the first floor of Centre Court in IOI City Mall
Founded in Hong Kong, Cheers Cheese is an international beverage franchise which specialises in  cheese tea. They opened their first shop in Malaysia last year in Damansara Uptown, then their second branch in IOI City Mall.

Cheers Cheese have about 40 different drinks on their menu, offering various types of beverages such as cheese tea, fruit tea, milk tee, coffee and more. You can also tweak your drinks with some add-ons like cheese (RM2.50), pearl (RM1.50), aloe vera (RM2.50) and Oreo (RM1.50).

Cheers Cheese Menu

My favourite was their Signature Fruit Tea (RM14.80). You can choose from green tea, black tea or four seasons tea. It's served with fresh cut fruits such as strawberry, watermelon, passion fruit (my fav!!), lime, and more. They were so generous with the fruits, I actually got quite full from eating them. This fruit tea is so delicious and super refreshing, perfect during the hot weather. You can eat the fruits after you've finished drinking the tea, or eat them while drinking, but it can get messy with water dripping out everywhere if you're not careful.

I also got to try their Cheese Milk Tea (RM12.30), which is another one of their recommended drinks. I love drinking milk tea and this was the first time I had it with cheese. When I first heard about cheese teas I felt weird about the idea but after trying it myself for the first time it was actually far better than my expectations. The cheese goes so well with the milk tea, definitely a must-try for cheese lovers. One way to enjoy cheese drinks is by tilting the cup 45 degrees while drinking from the cap, that way you can have the right portion of cheese and tea.

Other than drinks, Cheers Cheese also offer a selection of snacks and desserts. They have cheesy tamago, takoyaki, a variety of cakes and macarons.

*we took the last mint macaron and that piece of macaron was misplaced*

We got the Unicorn Rainbow Cake (RM18.90) since it looked the prettiest among the others. On the outside the cake is decorated as a pretty unicorn, and on the inside is four layers of bright coloured cake frosted with cream. The cake didn't feel to dry when eating but it crumbled easily. It had just the right amount of sweetness and it didn't make us feel too jelak, we actually finished the whole cake.

We also had each of the flavours of the macarons (RM4.50/piece). All of them tasted so good. The shells were soft and crisp and the fillings were creamy and delicious, we just couldn't have enough! They were all very flavourful but yet not too sweet. My favourites are mint and orange, both were so tasty!

Salted Caramel, Matcha, Mint
Orange, Keylime, Chocolate
Overall, the drinks were great and the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this to those with a sweet tooth, especially cheese lovers. I'll come back soon to try out other flavours!
