I've been wanting to try out BB cushions for quite some time but I never got myself one until few weeks ago I decided to get the Missha M Magic Cushion. My friend recommended this product to me and couldn't stop telling me about how great the coverage was. I purchased it from Hermo Malaysia for RM62 (originally RM90) since they were having sales for their anniversary. There are four shades available, but unfortunately, Hermo only sells two shades - #21 or #23 - and I got it in the shade #23.

It has a simple yet classy and sleek casing just like any other Korean compact cushion. It's small enough for me to bring around in my handbag and it doesn't take up much space in my makeup bag which is perfect for travelling. It comes with an inbuilt mirror and a puff (which does an amazing job in application).

According to Missha's website, this product has a high and long-lasting coverage. It claims that it doesn't darken as a result of oxidation and it has brightening effect, wrinkle care and sun protection of SPF 50+/PA+++. Besides, its key ingredients, bamboo water and baobab tree fruit extract help to moisturise and hydrate the skin, while the witch hazel extract soothes and calms it. This is what I love most about BB cushions, they not only help to cover imperfections, but also provide skincare benefits!

When I first tried it on my face, I was surprised with it's coverage which I would describe as medium to full. It covers up my imperfections almost perfectly especially for my dark circles. I don't even need concealer on my under eyes anymore when I use this product! However it doesn't do such a good job in covering my darker acne scars so I still have to reach out for my concealer to hide them. It lasts 8 hours on me when I'm indoors with primer underneath and setting powder over it. But when I'm outdoors when it's hot, my face gets oily fast and the product transfers easily after 3 hours.

This cushion has a semi-matte finish. It's not drying on the skin and not too sticky. I love how it leaves a natural healthy glow to my skin!

Usually Korean BB creams have pink undertones that make me look like a doll but Missha M Magic Cushion's shade #23 is a warm shade with yellow undertone.

Overall, I really love this cushion. I've been using this for my everyday makeup because it's lightweight and it makes my skin looks naturally glowy. It has full coverage and it's moisturising. Most importantly, it's super affordable! This product is definitely worth it if you're on a tight budget yet you wanna try out a BB cushion.
