Travel & beauty enthusiast. I live for hojicha lattes, mountain views, the aching pain after a good weightlifting day, warm hugs and brunch on Sundays.
We arrived in Brussels, Belgium at night and stayed in a hotel 20 minutes away from the city centre before exploring the city in the morning the next day. We only had half a day to spend in Brussels as they wouldn't allow us to park our vehicle outside the hotel for too long so we decided to wake up early and visit as many attractions as possible. It rained the whole morning we had to walk around with our hoodies on and it was so gloomy it made it hard to take good pictures *SOBS*.
Cargo container art in the middle of a round-about??
While we were on our way to get breakfast we passed by Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula. It was extremely early so there weren't many tourists and it was easy to take pictures of the Roman Catholic church without anyone ruining my picture(!!!)
Streets of Brussels:
We entered Mary, a Belgian chocolate shop founded in 1919 and bought the Reglette Napolitains which is a box of 45 assorted Belgian handmade chocolates. Mary is one of the top 10 most famous chocolatiers in Belgium!
Saint Mary's Royal Church
Parc de Bruxelles - the largest urban public park in the center of Brussels surrounded by the Royal Palace of Brussels, the Belgian parliament and the United States embassy.
It's spring and everything's green !
Right in front of the Brussels Park is the Royal Palace of Brussels - the official palace of the King and Queen of the Belgians.
Saint Jacques-sur-Coudenberg - a neoclassical church located in the historic square of Place Royale
Spire of Brussels Town Hall can be seen from the church

Galeries Royales St Hubert
One of first shopping arcades built in Europe, Galeries Royales St Hubert,is situated in the middle of Brussels which is lined with luxury brands, elegant cafés, boutiques and chocolate shops. This spectacular glazed complex is built in 1847 and it's approximately 200m long.
My favourite destination here is one of the must-see attractions of Brussels, the Grand Place. It's the central square of the city and it's a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Grand Place is surrounded by the Guild Houses, the Town Hall and the Maison Du Roi (Breadhouse). I've seen pictures of the place at night and it's absolutely gorgeous but sadly we had to leave before the sun sets :c

Chocolate-coated strawberries from Godiva!
King's House - Maison Du Roi
There were so many more attractions that we missed out in Brussels because we could only stay for such a short time. I'll definitely be back to visit more of this beautiful city!
