K-Beauty Haul Part 2 - O-Lens Caribe 3Con Contact Lens

I'm back with another review for my K-beauty haul! This time it won't be makeup or skincare products, instead I'll be reviewing coloured contact lenses! I've never worn contact lenses before this and I've been wanting to try out coloured lenses for a while but I just didn't know where to get good ones from. While I was in Seoul I saw this eyewear shop O-Lens in almost every street and looked it up on the internet. They have many good reviews online for their coloured contact lenses so I decided to buy two pairs for myself since they were having a buy one free one promotion.

They have so many designs and colours it was really difficult for me to choose especially for a first timer like me, I didn't know which one would suit my dark eye colour. I decided to get two pairs of the Caribe 3Con lenses in pink and blue which was KRW15,000 (RM56 for two pairs). They gave me free cases for my contact lenses and even a free bottle of contact lens solution! This is why I love to shop in Korea, they always give you free stuff even when there's already a discount.

Since it was my first pair of contact lens ever, it took me some time to get used to it. During my first time wearing them, my eyes felt uncomfortable and my vision was a little blurry but I think it was because I didn't clean them properly. Then on my second time, I put more of the contact lens solution to clean them and they felt so comfortable I couldn't even feel anything in my eyes! I love how they aren't drying and they don't tire my eyes out much. However, they do move around a little in the eyes sometimes but they don't cause too much discomfort.

They looked a little different on me compared to the picture of their model probably because I have much darker eyes. I like how they're subtle and weren't too noticeable. It took quite some time for people to realise my eye colour was different because of how natural they looked. The graphic diameter is 13.0mm which is a little too small to cover my eyes fully but it's not too obvious.

Here's my natural dark brown eyes for comparison:

They look more purple than pink in my eyes but it's hard to tell if you look from a distance.

I will update and post pictures of the blue one once I've tried it**

Products from O-Lens are quite expensive without the 1+1 promotion so I suggest you wait until they have any discounts or promotions as they have them quite often. Unfortunately, O-Lens isn't available in any physical store in Malaysia but I did find it in 11street.my I'm not sure if they are authentic but there are good reviews on the website so I'm assuming they're not fake. You can also purchase from their global website which ships internationally.

So that's all for my review on the Caribe 3Con from O-Lens! More reviews from my K-Beauty haul coming up soon, stay tuned!
