Travelling On A Cruise | Phuket & Krabi

So I just came back from my 4 days 3 nights vacation on a cruise to Thailand. I went on SuperStar Libra which took us to Phuket and Krabi. This was my first time going on a cruise so it was pretty exciting for me! The ship departs from Penang Port so we had to take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang. We boarded around 1-2pm after checking in and going through immigration and security checks.

Everyone on the cruise is given an access card which is used as a room key card and also as a "credit card" where you can purchase items on board and pay them on the last day before you check out.

They had a welcome party at the pool deck in the evening with performances and a BBQ buffet dinner

The ship arrived in Patong, Phuket in the next morning but we only got off the ship around noon after having lunch on the cruise. To get to the beach we had to take a tendering boat as the beach doesn't have a port for the ship to stop at. We walked and window shopped around Patong Beach and then stopped by a bar to have a drink because it was scorching hot outside.

It was a gloomy day but we were very lucky that it only rained just before when we were about to leave.

We arrived in Krabi in the morning on our third day. The boat ride from the cruise to the island was 45 minutes and we took another 30 minutes car ride to Ao Nang Beach.

They had a gala dinner on our last night where they served 6 course meal.

Smoked duck as appetiser
Chicken soup and cream of mushroom
Seafood Duo - main course
Mango sorbet with strawberry jam
On our last day, the ship arrived in Penang at 12pm and we took a van back home after getting off the ship. It was great experiencing living on a cruise. The ocean views from the ship was so breathtaking and the strong wind blowing makes it even better!

I also made a short video of my cruise vacation, please check it out!!
