ELLE Skincare Iris Water-Like Oil

I always thought ELLE was just a magazine and fashion brand but apparently they also have a skincare range in Taiwan. They have a series of products which uses iris as one of the ingredients and one of the products is ELLE Skincare Iris Water-Like Oil. It's actually a facial oil but because of its lightweight and non-greasy texture, it feels like water. It targets dehydrated, dull, ageing and damaged skin, as well as enlarged pores. It claims to hydrate, tighten and brighten the skin, and even out the skin tone. Besides, it can also help to maintain the health of your skin barrier, decrease loss of collagen and achieve oil and water balance.

It comes in a small bottle with 25ml of product and there's a dropper attached to the cap.

The texture of Iris Water-Like Oil doesn't feel like oil. The consistent is runny and it feels like water-based essences. It's super fast and easy to absorb and it doesn't feel oily at all after applying it. It has a light perfumed scent which fades a while after applying.

It's so water-like you can barely see it on the skin
There are a few ways to use this product. After cleansing and toning, use this as a moisturiser. Apply 1-2 drops on your palm and rub it in between your palms until it forms microbubbles, then apply on your skin evenly, using the warmth of your palms to help with better absorption. You can also use this with your foundation for a glowy finish and it helps your makeup to last longer. Other than that, you can use this on your dry lips, hair, cuticles or your body.

I use this almost every night after my moisturiser for extra hydration and so far, I've been LOVING it! I have flaky skin on my nose and I could see a big improvement in the morning after I used it for the first time. I usually avoid applying oil products on my nose because they would cause oil seeds but I don't have a problem with that at all when using this product. I love how it's so lightweight, it doesn't feel greasy on my skin and it doesn't clog my pores like some facial oils do. It's very moisturising and it does make my skin feel smoother and look healthier. I also like to mix a drop or two of this into my matte or high coverage liquid foundations so it looks more natural and dewy on my skin.

The price of this is expensive especially with the amount you get in a bottle but it definitely worked really great for me the way they claimed, so I'd say it's worth the price. You can get your ELLE Skincare Iris Water-Like Oil from allyoung.my.
