I've recently visited Korea again. In case you haven't read my post about Seoul, this is the second time I visited Korea. Skincare and cosmetics shopping is a must for all ladies travelling there! I've already written a beauty haul post for my last visit and this time, I'll be separating my reviews because I want to try them out one by one.
The first product I tried was 3CE Mood Recipe Matte Lip Colour in the shade #221 Mellow Flower. I immediately put it on after I bought it in Stylenanda Pink Hotel in Myeongdong. It's a peachy-rosy red colour with a matte finish. This shade is one of the new shades added to its Mood Recipe series and it's still unavailable in Malaysia for now (update 28/6/2018 - it's now available on Hermo !). I got it for KRW17,000 (RM63 after tax refund).

The lipstick's formula isn't as creamy and pigmented as I expected, I have to press a little harder to get it on my lips. Once I get the first layer on, application is much easier and smoother. I have to apply more layers so my lips wouldn't feel too dry. I'd recommend putting a thin layer of lip balm under the lipstick because it can make your lips look dry and crusty after a while if your lips are already dry since it's a matte lipstick.
Love the packaging, it's super simple and it's matte in PINK! Different shades have different matching packaging colours. It's small and easy to carry around (like typical bullet lipsticks).

I absolutely love this colour and how it looks on my lips! It doesn't transfer easily and the lasting power is pretty good too except that I had to retouch a little after having some hokkien mee which is totally normal for any lipstick. Usually, transfer-free lipsticks are a pain in the ass when it comes to removing but for this I normally just wipe some of it off with a tissue first then wash it with water and rub my lips lightly til it's all gone, it actually comes off quite easily.
If you don't really want to stand out with your pretty red lips, then you can just dab the lipstick on your lips until you get the colour you're comfortable with. Since it's a bit dry, you might have to dab a bit harder to get some colour.
They also have eyeshadow palettes and blush in the Mood Recipe series which I was really tempted to buy but I still had some self control okay. Their blush had pretty good pigmentation but the shades weren't really for me.

Stay tuned for more reviews of my Kbeauty haul! Really excited to try out the other products and I'll be writing once I've tried them out!
I’m enjoying how long these last while drinking, and it last most the day! I don’t usually like Matte lip color, but these did go on smoothly, and had a gloss to them. The colors are nice, but a few of them were a bit too dark for my skin tone, and my age. I noticed a scent to each one; a few even smelled a bit like cookies or fresh baked goodies. A few others had a bit of a funny scent to it, that I can’t describe. I like the shape of the wand, it helps keep the color where it needs to be.
